Ms. McEttrick is a Shareholder of the firm who represents clients in a wide range of complex matters, including False Claims Act/Whistleblower, RICO, fraud, healthcare, and commercial litigation. Since joining the firm in 2011, Ms. McEttrick has litigated multimillion dollar cases in New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Connecticut. Recently, Ms. McEttrick litigated a False Claims Act case that resulted in a settlement of nearly a quarter of a billion dollars. In another recent case, Ms. McEttrick challenged the standing of the defendant to submit demands for medical benefits payments to the firm’s client, resulting in an agreement by the defendant to withdraw all pending claims and to never again bill the client. Ms. McEttrick also negotiates and operationalizes healthcare licensure and fee agreements, and advises clients on strategy, risk management, and regulatory matters throughout the country. Ms. McEttrick presents and participates nationwide in lectures and training seminars on a wide variety of legal, healthcare, claims handling, investigation, and fraud prevention issues.
